The Quarter Cask expression is a rich, complex, and intensely fruity Single Malt whisky. This cask strength marvel pairs perfectly with a Sherry Cask Single Malt. 112.4 Proof (56.2% ABV)

The chosen Arran Single Malt for this cask strength expression initially matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels. It was then transferred for secondary maturation into smaller Quarter casks made from the finest American oak. The process of transferring the whisky into these smaller 125-liter casks results in greater contact between the whisky and oak, leading to a faster and more intense maturation.

The final result is a full-bodied expression of Arran Single Malt that harmoniously combines power and finesse. It is brimming with rich vanilla sweetness and bold peppery spice. The bottling process, carried out at natural cask strength without chill-filtration or artificial coloring, offers this whisky in its purest form. Small casks were a common feature of the Arran whisky trade in the 18th and 19th centuries due to their ease of handling and transportation around the island. The much-loved Quarter Cask expression proudly revives this tradition.
