Heaven Hill Heritage Collection 17 Year Old Barrel Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750mL

We’re proud to announce the release of Heaven Hill Heritage Collection 17-Year-Old Barrel Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey—the first edition of the new Heaven Hill Heritage Collection.

Each spring, this annual, highly-limited release will feature some of our oldest inventory of aging whiskey. Made with the same exacting standards we have practiced since 1935, we believe this collection is a testament to our patience and ultra-aging techniques.

Future releases in the Heaven Hill Heritage Collection will feature one of the six traditional American Whiskey mashbills we produce. The first edition features our Bourbon mashbill comprised of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley, and bottled at a barrel proof of 118.2. With an age statement of 17 years, this release uniquely shares the percentages of the blend on the label: 28% 20-year-old barrels, 44% 19-year-old barrels and 28% 17-year-old barrels. The barrels were pulled from Deatsville, Glencoe, Schenley and our Bardstown main campus warehouse locations. Attributes will vary by release as deemed worthy of bottling.

This new collection comes from a special stock of barrels that have been aging away, waiting for the right moment. We released the first of these to the public with the premium, extra-aged release of our Heaven Hill 27-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon. This exclusive, one-time bottling was distilled in 1989 and 1990 at the old Heaven Hill Springs Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, before it was devastated by fire in 1996. This was followed by the release of a special 85^th Anniversary bottling in 2020. 

Each Heaven Hill Heritage Collection 750ml bottle will be accompanied by a premium box in signature Heaven Hill blue with the double-H insignia stamped in gold to signify Heaven Hill. As a signature of the new collection, specific attributes such as warehouse site locations, production dates, mashbill percentage and other designations will be noted prominently on the packaging.

Heaven Hill Heritage Collection 17-Year-Old Barrel Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey will launch nationally in March of 2022 on a limited basis.
