Copper & Kings Butchertown Brandy Cask Strength is a melody of rich flavors, capturing the essence of musical legends. It's the rhythm of John Lee Hooker, sensual and lively, meeting the refinement of the Modern Jazz Quartet, tinged with a touch of the unexpected. Crafted meticulously from select reserve casks, this brandy is primarily aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels, with a portion resting in fresh American oak. The result? A harmonious blend that's unadulterated, non-chill filtered, and truly resonates with authenticity. Whether enjoyed pure over ice or with a hint of chilled water, it unveils its character gracefully, blooming with every sip.
TASTING NOTES
Appearance: dark brown, golden mahogany. Slightly viscous.
Aroma: strongly reminiscent of superior whiskey and Kentucky bourbon. Blackberry fruit, with hints of cherry.
Taste: fabulous brandy start, bold, robust, strong whiskey notes with brandy fruit coming forth towards the back end. Rollicking, rock ’n roll almost rye whiskey like on the mid-palate, joyous. Superb structure and backbone.
High proof chewy. Hints of Irish pot-still fruity whiskey.
Stone-fruit – peaches, dark cherry in the surround sound.
Finish: slight tannic, oaky dryness, lingers on the tongue. Velvety smooth (and approachable), especially for high proof spirit.
